Wellness etiquette

Opening hours: 09:00 to 19:00

The heating time for the sauna is 40 minutes. Please let the reception know in time when you want to take a sauna.

The Neptun wellness area will relax your body and soul. Learn more about our features:

  • Salt room:
It was built of Himalayan salt bricks. It is recommended to spend at least 20 minutes here, taking deep breaths. Salt and water do not mix very well in the case of a salt room, so make sure you are completely dry before entering.
  • Finnish sauna:
The Scandinavians have known for two thousand years that sitting in hot steam is not only pleasant but also healthy. Just make sure you do not stay longer than the recommended 15 minutes here at a time. After a refreshing tropical shower and 10 minutes of rest, the second round can begin.
  • Tepidarium Our Tepidarium beds are good for warming up, especially after a refreshing, albeit cold hike outside.
  • Cheerful mosaic-brick jacuzzi:
Big enough that a group of 8 people can chat comfortably.
  • Wellness:
American physician Dr. Halbert L. Dunn coined this word in the late 1950s by combining the words well-being and fitness. This has become the motto of his concept of health. One of the pillars of wellness has been quieting the mind, the other pillar is an active, movement-based lifestyle, and the third is conscious nutrition.

The Sauna Master’s Tips:

  • Take a shower and dry yourself off before and after each round.
The shower in the beginning removes various chemicals from our body (e.g. deodorant, creams) and the following showers after each round cools our heated body. The alternation of warm and cold is good for the skin and blood circulation.
  • Session length:
It is not recommended to be inside for ore than 15 minutes a time. But iff you feel like it, you can come out in as little as five minutes. After resting and refreshing, you can return to another 15-minute session again. Listen to your body!
  • Dress code:
Do not wear a bathing suit in the sauna, as it is usually made of some kind of synthetic textile, and heat can release harmful substances from it. Use a sauna towel made of natural fabrics (linen, cotton) instead. Be sure to leave your slippers out!
  • When to avoid the sauna?
Extreme heat has a beneficial effect on the body: the blood vessels dilate, the blood and lymphatic circulation become more intense, the metabolism speeds up and the immune system is strengthened. Saunas can be very helpful in preventing diseases. But if you are sick (if you have a cold, running a fever, or if there is any inflammation in your body) you better wait until you get better to avoid overtaxing your body.. It is not recommended to take a sauna on an empty stomach. The sauna is recommended by professionals from the age of 14. Children should always use the sauna with parental supervision.
  • Respect the peace of others.
The sauna is the realm of immersion and silence. Help others pay attention to themselves, relax, and avoid loud speech and laughter! Immerse yourself in your thoughts and leave the outside world for a while!
